When Chess and Open World meet!
CHESSLANE is an alternative chess experience where the player incarnates
a Black King in a minimalist and unstructured 3-dimensional world.
Equiped with your Directional Clock, move in the 8 directions
(cardinal and ordinal) using a single button to progress.
But be careful, the White pieces are watching you and will take advantage
of your slightest misstep to stop you!
Travel strategically across this labyrinthine world to destroy the opposing pieces while Checkmate and dethrone the White King!

Quand Échecs et Monde Ouvert se rencontrent !
CHESSLANE est une expérience alternative des échecs où le joueur incarne
un Roi Noir dans un monde minimaliste et déstructuré en 3 dimensions.
Munis de votre Horloge Directionnelle, déplacez vous dans les 8 directions (cardinales et ordinales) à l'aide d'un seul bouton pour progresser.
Mais attention, les pièces Blanches vous surveillent et profiteront de
vos moindres faux pas pour vous arrêter !
Traversez ce monde labyrinthique strategiquement pour détruire les pièces adverses en évitant l'Échec et Mat et détrônez le Roi Blanc !

Controls :
Spacebar: Move forward one square in the indicated direction.
Hold Spacebar: Continuously move forward in the indicated direction.
Hold Escape: Quit the game.
Hold Delete: Reboot the game (useful in case of critical bug).
Directional Clock Indications :
Turquoise Dial: You can step on this square.
Red Dial: Impossible to move in this direction.
Orange Dial: If you step on this square, a White piece will destroy you.
Purple Dial: If you step on this square, you will destroy a White piece.
PS :
CHESSLANE being a prototype, it is possible to skip zones by teleporting to the CheckPoints with the f1 to f9 keys. For an optimal experience, I suggest not using these teleporters, except in the event of a critical bug or once you've already finished the game!

Contrôles :
Barre Espace : Avancer d'une case dans la direction indiquée.
Barre Espace Maintenue : Avancer Continuellement dans la direction indiquée.
Échap Maintenu : Quitter le jeu.
Suppr Maintenu : Reboot le jeu (utile en cas de bug bloquant).
Indications de l'Horloge Directionnelle :
Cadran Turquoise : Vous pouvez avancer sur cette case.
Cadran Rouge : Impossible d'avancer dans cette direction.
Cadran Orange : Si vous avancez sur cette case, une pièce Blanche vous détruira.
Cadran Violet : Si vous avancez sur cette case, vous détruirez une pièce Blanche.
PS :
CHESSLANE étant un prototype, il est possible de passer les zones en se téléportant aux CheckPoints avec les touches f1 à f9.
Pour une experience optimale, je vous déconseille d'utiliser ces téléporteurs, sauf en cas de bug bloquant ou une fois tout le jeu terminé !
